St. Louis Cardinals utility man Tommy Edman is playing in Springfield this week, his first game action since right wrist surgery in October 2023.

Edman began his rehab assignment on Tuesday night at Hammons Field, as the Springfield Cardinals faced the Minnesota Twins’ Double-A affiliate Wichita Wind Surge.
