Betty Jean Lewis, 83 from Springfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, May 23rd.

Betty and her family were members of First Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. She sold Avon and was a Real Estate Broker for over 45 years. She started her real estate career at Landmark and later became a member of the prestigious Century 21 Masters Club and was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club. She was married to Norman D. Lewis for nearly 64 years. Together, they owned & managed several real estate companies including Century 21 Lewis & Company and Choice Properties in Springfield, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband Norman D. Lewis of Springfield, Missouri; her daughter Pamela J. Burke and son-in-law John M. Burke II of Plano, Texas; her son David B. Lewis and daughter-in-law Susan E. Lewis of Nixa, Missouri; granddaughter Jennifer M. Mark of Ball Ground, Georgia; grandson David B. Lewis of St. Gabriel, Louisiana; granddaughter Aimee E. Wright of Arvada, Colorado; and great-grandson Tommy M. Lewis.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at First Baptist Church of Springfield, Missouri with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am.

There will be a short internment service at 1 pm at the Veterans Cemetery in Ozark, Missouri. Arrangements are being made by the Greenlawn Funeral Home.
