Gerald (Jerry) Gene Noblitt, 85 of Springfield, passed away May 8th, 2022.

After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he served in Germany. Upon his return, he began his long career with the City of Springfield Public Works, which he retired from after 37 years. Additionally, he was an active member of the Shriners for many years, as well as a Freemason.

He is survived by his wife, Wathena (Dolly) Noblitt, his daughters and their spouses, Cheryl Anne and Scott Riggs, and Maurya Marie Thompson and Gene Wolkey, his three step-daughters, Shannon James, Sharla Fields, and Shelly and Darrin Woods, and his nine grandchildren, Jeremy Southard, Stephanie Thompson, Jesse Swofford, Hunter Riggs, Stephanie James, Devin James, Cory Miller, Ally Ivy, and James Fields. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Service will be held at Greenlawn North, Thursday, May 12th, from 6 pm-8 pm.
