Lois Y. Morris (Silvey) Inman, 95 of Springfield, died on July 12, 2022.

She taught school at Alberta and Ragsdale Elementary Schools near Seymour before marrying L.D Silvey in June of 1946 and eventually moving to Bolivar. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager in the Bolivar and Springfield areas, including managing the bookstore at Southwest Baptist University. She married Frank Inman in 1981 and they moved to Springfield. Both have been active members at South Haven Baptist Church, and Lois enjoyed working as the wedding coordinator there for 13 years.

She is survived by her husband Frank Inman, two daughters Gaytha (Siley) Suits and husband David; Jana Silvey ( Hesselton) Smithson and Husband Bryan; and two step-daughters, Michelle (Inman) Mato and her husband John; and Tina (Inman)Larson. She is survived by her step-grandchildren Anthony, Evan, Savannah and Ashley, as well as two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Integrity Homecare and Hospice or South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.

Arrangments are being made by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home.
