Richard Knut Lundh, 93 of Manitou Springs, CO., and Springfield, MO., died peacefully on June 16, 2022.

Dick is a combat veteran from the Korean War, where he served as a Radar Electronics Technician on the U.S.S. Orleck and the U.S.S. Princeton. After the war, Dick graduated from the University of Colorado, using benefits from the G.I. Bill. Dick worked in the insurance industry for many years. In that role, he lived in Panama and traveled throughout Central America and the Caribbean. After he retired from the insurance industry, Dick went back to the Pikes Peak Summit House to work for several summers in the 1980s. After fully retiring, Dick split his time between Springfield and Manitou Springs.

Dick will be missed by his wife, Marti Lundh, and many, many other friends and family who were lucky enough to know and experience his charm, curiosity, and kindness.

A celebration of Dick’s life will be held in Manitou Springs in September.
