Linda C. Williamson, age 77, of Nixa passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. She was born on February 5, 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the youngest daughter of Jim and Bessie Posey.

Linda's journey began at Falls City (Nebraska) High School in 1965 where she filled her days with cheerleading activities. Following her graduation, she ventured to St. Joseph, Missouri, as a bank teller at Livestock Bank, where fate introduced her to her beloved husband Dick. Their union on Dec. 4, 1971, marked the beginning of a beautiful family life that centered around their two children, Sean and John in Jackson, Mississippi.

The family relocated into the Springfield-Nixa area in 1975 where Linda discovered her passion for oil painting. By 1985, Linda established a party supply store in Springfield, Missouri called “The Party Line.”

Linda is survived by two sons Sean Williamson and wife Heide of Indian Point, Missouri, John Williamson and wife Cathy of Humble, Texas; step-daughters Karen Williamson of Kansas City, Missouri, Linda Kay Bronars and husband Tim of Lee's Summit; grandchildren Grant Williamson his fiancé Ashley Armstrong of Willard, Missouri, Rachel Williamson of Lexington, Kentucky, Brooke Williamson and fiancé Parker Link of Willard; step-grandchildren Kristen Johnson and husband Chris, Matthew Brizendine and wife Aril, Jacob Bronars and wife Micah, Courtney Range and husband Cameron and Rebecca Bronars; step-great-grandchildren Bo Brizendine and Jonathan Bronars. Her memory also lives on through her sister Patsy Scholl of Fremont, Nebraska.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, MO.
