The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an endangered missing 16-year-old.
Ariah Matthews is 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds with red or burgundy dyed hair and a pale complexion. It is unknown what Matthews was wearing when she went missing.
According to police, Matthews suffers from mental health issues and is currently not taking medication. She was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, near West Nichols Street and North Douglas Ave in the Grant Beach Neighborhood.
