Bobby Gene (Bob) Stockstill, 93 of Springfield, passed peaceably from this life into eternity where the ravages of age no longer apply on June 2, 2024.
Bob served in the army airborne as a paratrooper during the Korean conflict. Following his military service, he worked as bricklayer and as a job foreman for several construction companies. Bob and Betty are lifelong members of what is now Watermill church of Christ
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty; four children and their spouses, Daniel and Cindee, John and Sue, Jeanne and Wayne, and Tim and Martaun; a sister, Frankie, and a brother James; a brother-in-law, Jim (Mary); and others.
The family will have a private graveside service but would invite anyone who would like to attend his celebration of life, which will be held at 2:30 PM, June 10, 2024, at the Watermill church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Fairhaven Children Home or Happy Hollow Bible Camp
