Betty “Jeanie” Cummins, 81 of Springfield, went home to Jesus on Sunday, June 9, 2024 after a long battle with heart disease.
After obtaining an education degree, she taught in Seymour, Houston, and Marshfield. She also worked for the Greene County Children’s Division. Jeanie enjoyed volunteering at Second Baptist Church and Cox Hospital.
She is survived by her children; and others.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, MO.
