Springfield police published a series of photos taken from a security camera in hopes that it will help them settle a theft investigation.

The Springfield Police Department believes a man and a woman stole from the Academy Sports and Outdoors store on West El Camino Alto Drive in south Springfield on May 1.

The man has a mustache and thin beard along the jawline, according to police. He has sleeve tattoos on both his arms, a tattoo on his right calf and a tattoo in the center of his neck.

The woman in the Academy store's surveillance photographs has dark red hair, three tattoos on her left arm and a small, thin tattoo on her right forearm.
