John David “J.D.” Nave, 64 of Nixa, passed away on June 24, 2024.
J.D. joined the U.S. Air Force and served as an Air Launched Missile Systems Technician. He had a few jobs through out his Military such as a body guard to a few influential people and celebrities.
After serving in the Air Force, J.D. worked for Meeks, Interstate Battery, worked security at multiple venues throughout Springfield, and was an OTR truck driver for Trail Liner.
He is survived by his siblings, Carol, Dianna, James, Rebecca, and Sharon; daughters, Jennifer and husband, Ryan, Lori and wife, Rachael, Nina and partner, Justin; sons, Joshua and partner, Cherysa, James and wife, Rachel, Jason and husband, Jesse, Yah’el and wife, Angela, and Josyah and partner, Katheryn; and others.
Warriors’ Watch Riders will render a final salute at 8:15 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2024, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., in Springfield.
After which, Warriors’ Watch Riders will escort the procession to Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, in Springfield, Missouri, where J.D. will receive full military honors at 9:00 a.m.
