Joseph Phillip Wright, 76 of Springfield, passed from this life on June 28, 2024 at Cox South Hospital.
Joe served as a United States Marine. Later, he began his lengthy career in the telecommunications industry at Southwestern Bell and later at Repcom. he was board member and past President at Twin Oaks Country Club and a faithful member of Campbell United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Kendra, (Todd), son Kevin, (Anna), stepdaughter Lauren, (David) and others.
On Friday July 5th a service will be held at Campbell United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM and a reception at Twin Oaks Country Club from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
