Anyone else confused about this warm November? My garden keeps sprouting seeds like it's April. Today, expect a brief cool down, and then forecasts climb back up to the 70s.

I've got some good weekend reads to kick off your Saturday. First up, reporter Jack McGee covered the opening of a new C-Street spot called Blue Heron Farm & Bakery. The owners are popular at the local farmers market, so their first brick-and-mortar shop opened with a bang. Lines out the door!

After you pick up coffee, you might be hankering for something to do. Check out our favorite weekend events, curated by Shannon Cay Bowers, or head to Dickerson Park Zoo to see the capybara pups in person! Columnist Steve Pokin also reports a theatrical historical hayride is planned through a local cemetery Saturday morning.

Heads up for Sunday, the Bass Pro Marathon and races kick off early. Check out Jackie Rehwald's story. It has everything runners, spectators — and drivers — need to know ahead of the big event.

Enjoy your weekend, folks. See you tomorrow!
