Linda Kay Bryant, 76, Springfield, Missouri, passed away on February 10, 2022, with her kids and family by her side. She was born August 24, 1945, in Springfield, Missouri to Kenneth and Doris (Savage) Leath.
She worked 15 years at Springfield News-Leader until she retired.
She is survived by daughters Venus (Tim) Simmons and Angela (Mike) Blakey. Eight grandkids Kayla, Bayley, Robert, Alyssa, Susan, Thurman, Raymond, and LeeAnne. Fifteen great-grandkids Dallas, Ace, Miguel, Izabella, Carlos, Daniel, Alejandro, Miaria, Gabriella, Jessica, Bentley, Lakendra, Lincoln, Elijah, Destiny and her beloved cat, Bootsy. Sisters Patricia Moore and Lisa Powers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. The final resting place will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
