The 34 annual RV Mega Show is taking place this weekend, March 3-5, at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, where over a hundred RVs are on display for curious shoppers.

Organized by Sportshow LLC, sponsors ranging from ABC Motors to Mid America RV are present at the event ready to show off their latest RVs for travel-friendly folks.

Chris Holloway, operations manager at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, helps organize several outdoor-themed expos that come to the fairgrounds. He expects to see a sizable turnout of people this weekend.

“We usually see a few thousand people show up every year. We do a boat show in January. We do the RV show in March and then a camping and offroading expo in April. We see people coming in from surrounding 15 states,” said Holloway.

The fairgrounds offer 96,000 square feet of vendor space, and Holloway has every square footage filled with RVs.

“There are 135 RVs on the floor. We have got about 10 RVs outside as we couldn't fit them in the building.  On Wednesday before the show, we opened the doors at 8 a.m. and by 5 p.m., every single RV was in, parked and they were cleaning them. We moved that many units in 8 hours,” said Holloway.

Showtimes for the expo are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, it’s open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $15. For additional details visit this website for more information.
