Marilyn J. (Hendrick) Sweeton, 75, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday morning, February 16, 2022, in her home following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born September 5, 1946 in St. Louis, MO.
Marilyn is survived by her son Greg and wife Laura (Winn) Sweeton of Strafford, MO; daughter Julie and husband Brad Vaughan of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren: Nathan, Katie, Anna, Alex and Isaiah; two sisters: Susan Smith and Judy Hartley; and two brothers: Bob and Steve Hendrick; many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Greenlawn East from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Springfield Little Theatre (please designate in honor of Marilyn J. Sweeton).
