UPDATE: Kyah Kendrick has been located and is safe.

Nixa Police are asking the public to submit tips to help locate a missing endangered teen. Kyah Kendrick is a 16-year-old from Nixa who is considered endangered due to a medical diagnosis.

Police say some of Kendrick's associates may be armed and dangerous.

Kendrick was last seen around 1 p.m. May 1, leaving his home in Nixa on foot. He was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, grey sweatpants, and white and grey sneakers with patches of orange and yellow. He also wears a silver necklace with a gold tube attached, holding ashes.

Police say Kendrick may be in Springfield with known gang members. He also has ties to Rogersville. Police urge members of the public to approach Kendrick with caution, as he may be armed.
