Gov. Mike Parson announced five new judicial appointments on Friday. Two new judges will serve at the Greene County 31st Judicial Circuit.
Derek Ankrom of Springfield was appointed as a circuit judge and Nathan Taylor of Strafford was appointed as an associate circuit judge.
According to a news release, Ankrom is currently a partner at Spencer Fane, LLP. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication and a juris doctor from the University of Missouri. He will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Michael Cordonnier.
Taylor is a partner at Taylor, Stafford, Clithero and Harris, LLP. He has a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Missouri State University and a juris doctor from the University of Tulsa. He fills the vacancy created by the appointment of Kaiti Greenwade as a circuit judge.
Judges were also appointed to serve in Grundy County's 3rd Judicial Circuit, St. Charles County's 11th Judicial Circuit in Barry/Lawrence/Stone counties' 39th Judicial Circuit.
