Marjorie Lee (Moore) Cornell, 91 of Bolivar, passed into the arms of Jesus on November 3, 2023, at her home, with her family by her side.
At age 17, she and Roy Cornell married in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Wilma and Donald Mitchell. Marjorie belonged to the Aldrich United Methodist Church and also, to the Morrisville Lion’s Club.
Marjorie is survived by her three sons: Robert L Cornell, and wife, Selma, Joe A Cornell, and wife, Oneita, and Albert L Cornell, and wife, Teressa; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-granchildren; her brother, Billy Moore, and his wife, Joyce; her aunt, Doris Swabby, and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A visitation for Marjorie will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar.
The funeral service will take place at Pitts Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie’s name to the American Heart Association.
