Ebbets Field Restaurant and Pub announced it is closing it's doors after 29 years on Walnut Street, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.

“We've had a great run!” the post said. “We're bummed to announce that service at Ebbets Field as we know it will end next week.”

Ebbets Field, which opened in 1981, according to its website, will be open through Jan. 7. The restaurant originally opened on Cherry Street before moving to its current location at 1027 E. Walnut St. in 1994.
