A 40-year-old Springfield man died Friday night, Dec. 29, when the pickup he was driving left hit a bridge's concrete support just north of Springfield city limits.

Jeremy L. Moore was driving east on Farm Road 102 (also known as Stagecoach Road) in his 2022 Ford F-250 at about 10:26 p.m. when the pickup left the road just west of Farm Road 151 (also known as Grant Avenue), according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online report.

Moore was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead at 11:06 p.m.

He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Highway Patrol report.
