CoxHealth has purchased the JPMorgan Chase Bank building on East Republic Road to provide more space for the hospital system to grow, according to a company press release.
CoxHealth will take possession of 60,000 square feet of the campus' south building, located at 303 E. Republic Rd., in April 2024, according to the release. JPMorgan Chase Bank will continue to be a tenant in other areas of the campus. According to Greene County Assessor's Office records, the full size of the Chase building is 284,000 square feet.

The plans are still being developed, but CoxHealth's leaders expect the property to “house a blend of functions,” company representatives wrote in the release. The purchase will allow for expansion without the burdensome cost of new construction.
“The opportunity to add this much capacity, in this location, comes at a great time for CoxHealth,” President Max Buetow wrote in the release. “This expansion positions us well to continue meeting our community’s needs.”
The hospital system has more than 13,500 employees and is growing, according to the release.
