A 30-year-old man from Ozark died Monday morning after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a 2010 Buick Enclave being driven by a Springfield woman.

The accident occurred at 6:55 a.m. on South Farm Road 163 (also called South National Avenue,) about one-quarter mile south of the Springfield city limit, which is in Greene County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online report.

Bryan Amburn was riding a 2020 Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed, according to the report, when Carla J. Malone, 52, pulled into the path of his motorcycle.

As required by law, the report stated, Malone (the surviving driver) was tested for alcohol. She was not listed as being injured.
