A Springfield library will undergo renovations in May. As a result, Ozarks Literacy Council is looking for temporary office space to continue operating.
The Midtown Carnegie Library, located at 397 E. Central St., houses the Ozarks Literacy Council administrative offices. Ozarks Literacy Council executive director Amy McGee Jardell wrote in an email that the renovations to the nonprofit's 600-square foot office inside the library will be completed in six to eight months.
To continue operations during renovations, Ozarks Literacy Council will need temporary office space and is asking Springfield businesses and community leaders for support, Jardell wrote in a LinkedIn post.
“Understanding the challenges we face, we are reaching out to local businesses and community leaders in the hope of finding a generous partner who can support us by donating office space in-kind for the duration of our renovation,” Jardell wrote in the LinkedIn post.
