Missouri Comic Con

Missouri Comic Con, the newest pop culture event in the state of Missouri, comes to the Springfield Expo Center on February 11th and 12th for an exciting weekend of celebrities, cosplay, gaming, and fun.

Missouri Comic Con will feature guests Doug Jones (Hellboy, The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth), Johnny Yong Bosch (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, anime voice acting legend), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk, Hercules), Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Mick Foley (wrestling Hall of Famer), Jim Cummings (Disney voice acting icon), CJ Graham (Friday the 13th), and many other guests from the realms of pop culture. Doug Jones will also be part of a Hocus Pocus reunion with three other actors from the Disney film.

In-show events include Q&As with celebrities, panels presented by professional cosplayers and comic artists, costume and video game contests, board gaming, and photo ops. Vendors and artists from across the country will attend and sell their wares. Fan groups—many of whom will be appearing for charity—will exhibit setups from fandoms such as Star Wars and Ghostbusters.

Other exhibits include an old school arcade with free-to-play arcade and pinball machines, free board and video gaming provided by Vans CCG, movie vehicles, and more.

Advance tickets are available from VXV Events’ exclusive ticket provider, Tixr, for $25 per day or $40 for the weekend, or at the door the day of the show for $35 per day or $55 for the weekend. Kids ten and under attend free with paid adult admission. Military discounts for active duty and retired personnel are available.

Celebrity guests may be available for press opportunities in the weeks leading up to the event. Certain guests may be available for in-person press opportunities/appearances on Friday, February 10th.
