Volunteer at Ozarks Food Harvest

According to the Ozarks Food Harvest, there has been a spike in the need for food assistance following the holidays, and they really need volunteers at the food bank to keep up with the distribution needs.

Afternoon Volunteer Sessions at Ozarks Food Harvest

Monday – Thursday & Saturdays, 1 p.m. 4 p.m.

Volunteers assist with a variety of projects related to packing food that will be distributed to our partner community agencies. Projects may include sorting and repacking donated products, assembling Weekend Backpack bags or Senior Boxes, labeling and boxing food items, and other projects as needed. Projects may involve checking food safety guidelines and expiration dates, sorting like items and repacking food for distribution. ONLY closed-toe shoes are allowed. Standing is required.
