A federal grand jury on Tuesday, Jan. 23, indicted a Forsyth man for allegedly robbing a Springfield bank on Jan. 5.

Richard Campbell, 59, is accused of robbing Guaranty Bank, 1905 W. Kearney St.

The robbery occurred on a Friday morning. Springfield police reported a man in dark clothing walked into the bank, displayed a gun and demanded cash. He was reportedly given an undisclosed amount of money, left the bank and left the property in a grey sedan without a license plate.

The case was investigated by Springfield police and the FBI.
