Four people were shot in the early morning hours of New Year's Day at The Barnhouse, an events center at 5484 W. Sunshine St., which is outside the Springfield city limits at the interchange of West Sunshine Street and James River Freeway.

None of the four people sustained life-threatening injuries, according to the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

Greene County deputies arrived at The Barnhouse at 2:45 a.m. in response to a report of someone being shot.

When the deputies arrived, they found two people with apparent gunshot wounds. It was later determined two more victims had been shot at The Barnhouse, and had already been taken to a Springfield hospital for treatment.

As of Tuesday morning, no suspect was in custody. Greene County deputies are continuing to investigate the shootings.
