Governor Mike Parson named two new judges to the 31st Judicial Circuit on Friday.

Joshua B. Christensen of Springfield was appointed as a circuit judge, and Kaiti Greenwade of Willard was appointed as an associate circuit judge.

Christensen is currently a partner at Kutak Rock LLP, a news release said. He has a bachelor's degree in literature and psychology from Excelsior College. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Alabama.

Christensen is filling the vacancy created by the recent appointment of Judge Becky Borthwick to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. 

Greenwade currently serves as the Dade County prosecuting attorney and is a partner at Greenwade Law Firm in Willard, the release said. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from Missouri State University and a juris doctor degree from the University of Tulsa.

Greenwade is filling the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Jerry A. Harmison Jr. as circuit judge.
