Greene County detectives are investigating possible human remains found in the area of State Highway H and Route KK, near Pleasant Hope.

On Monday, May 27, Greene County sheriff's deputies were notified about the possible discovery of human remains. Detectives and the Greene County medical examiner responded and located skeletal remains. An autopsy is scheduled.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be provided as it becomes available. Sheriff Jim Arnott is asking anyone with information to call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office crime tip hotline at (417) 829-6230.
