The criminal complaint alleges that Tyner robbed Legacy Bank and Trust in Springfield on Sept. 29.
According to an affidavit, Tyner was wearing a blue t-shirt with the Superman logo on the front and blue athletic shorts when he entered the bank on a Friday. The man investigators believe to be Tyner slid a note on a teller counter that read, “This is a robbery.” A bank teller gave Tyner $5,560 in cash, the affidavit says, and he left the bank.
According to the release, investigators determined Tyner was driving a silver, four-door Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle detected by a license plate reader in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Oct. 1, about two days after the Springfield bank robbery.
