The Springfield Police Department identified a woman found dead on March 4 near the railroad tracks at West College Street and South Fort Avenue as 40-year-old Rachel Morgan.
Morgan had been the subject of an endangered missing person alert. She was last seen around 11:30 p.m. March 1.
According to a news release from the Springfield Police Department, the circumstances of her death do not appear to be suspicious.
