A Springfield man died Saturday night when the motorcycle he was driving struck another vehicle on Highway 215 in Brighton.
According to the crash report, Jordan A. Langdon, 28, was westbound on a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle around 8 p.m. when he failed to yield at an intersection and struck a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Thomas A. Smith, 29, of Bolivar.
Langdon was pronounced dead at the scene. This is Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D’s 38th fatality for 2023. The accident occurred in Polk County.
Smith was not listed in the report as having any injuries.
