Throughout this week and last, we asked you to take a moment to write a thank you note, share a story, or simply express your gratitude for our service members. Their bravery, sacrifice, and strength do not go unnoticed. To those who have served, and their families, thank you for your time serving this country.
Lindsay Thieman Tobin: This is my dad, Robert Thieman and brother, Nathan Thieman. They both attended Missouri State University (different names then!) and were in ROTC. They both became Captains in the Army. My dad was in the Transportation Corps and was stationed in Germany and my brother was in Airborne and stationed in Alaska. Nowadays, they both reside in Springfield where my dad enjoys life as a retired school teacher and my brother serves in the Springfield Police Department. I’m proud of them and their service to our country.
