Text from our SGF Sunday email newsletter, written by reporter Rance Burger

Good Sunday, Springfield. Our most-read story this week takes us out of the city to the farm. Our readers checked out business reporter Jack McGee’s piece on Cassidy Station at the Estes Century Farm in Christian County.

Kyle and Hollie Estes have big plans to offer samples of old Ozarks farm life near the intersection of Fremont Road and State Route CC.

Back in the city, reporter Jackie Rehwald spoke with two residents of an Eden Village community, where chronically homeless persons live together in secure neighborhoods of tiny homes. Their stories are two among many caught in a larger effort to treat mental illness differently, keeping people out of emergency rooms and out of jail after crisis strikes.

In sports, a Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner was in Springfield this week. Lyndal Scranton caught up with Brendan Donovan, a former Springfield Cardinal fresh off of winning the National League Gold Glove for utility players.

Don't miss this week's Lives Remembered, as we look back on the artistic, creative and musical life of Dudley Murphy.

Stay warm. We'll see you Monday.
