Text from our SGF Weekend email newsletter, written by Managing Editor Brittany Meiling

As Steve Pokin's editor, you must undergo certain difficulties. He never pays attention to his Slack messages. He changes column topics without you knowing and then files the unexpected story right at deadline. His cell phone ringer can be heard miles away from his desk.

But... there is the great pleasure of reading his work. I busted up laughing at his recent column, in which he takes a stab at horoscope writing. I'm going to pray he did not know I was a Sagittarius before writing this prediction:

Sagittarius, Nov. 22-Dec. 21: Find Jesus. Remove all incriminating and embarrassing files and folders from your electronic devices. Buy a headstone. Cancel Netflix. Things don’t look so good.

Do yourself a favor and read your Pokin horoscope before the week is out.

Another don't-miss piece is this beautiful hiking guide from Sony Hocklander exploring Sweden Creek Falls. Bookmark this for your Spring Break or summer getaway!

Of course, keep up with Springfield's food scene by checking out Jack McGee's latest. A new Mexican restaurant is coming to downtown, and a pizza chain is also entering the market.
