Barbara Lee Young, age 77, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at home surrounded by family.
She was born on August 6, 1944 to Albert and Iris Van Swearingen.
She is survived by her brother, Dan Van Swearingen and wife Gayle of Warsaw, sister Vicki of KansasCity, brother Jack Van Swearingen and wife Linda of Warsaw, son Tracy Lewis Young of Leeton, Troy
Young and wife Teresa of Leeton, son Keith Young and wife Robin of Springfield, Her grandchildren
Travis Jenkins and wife Alesha, of Warsaw, Meagan Sullins and husband TJ, of Warrensburg, Ashley
Denham and husband Josh, of Leeton, Heather Young, of Warrensburg, Tyler Young, of Leeton, Aubrey
Young, of Kansas City, Rachel Hampton and husband Cody of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and Aaliyah and
Willow Young of Springfield. Her niece Kim Flippin and nephew Mike Flippin both of Warsaw, and her
sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are being taken care of by the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. There are no events scheduled at this time.
