Bettie Lou (Greene) Turner, 90 of Springfield, passed from this life onto her eternal reward, the morning of May 30, 2024, at home with family by her side.
She was a lifelong member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. Over the years, Bettie worked during the day primarily as a secretary at various places including Trailmobile, Lawrence Photo, The Penny Power, The American Heart Association, and The Downtown YMCA. She owned and operated two restaurants at different times in her life in and around the city of Rogersville – Crossroads Ice Cream Shoppe and The Dairy Cup.
She is survived by her siblings, Junior (Doris) Greene, Larry (Betty) Greene, and Bonita Welsh, her children Mike (Rita) Turner, Luann (Jack) Musgrave, Janet (Mark) Stafford, daughter-in-law Karen Brown, and others.
Funeral services for Bettie Turner will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole St. Springfield, MO 65809.
Visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
