Calvin Baker, age 85 of Springfield peacefully passed away at 12:37 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022, in his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Hazel Baker. Calvin is survived by his wife, Barbara, Springfield; stepsons, Steve Norton (Jan) of Nixa, MO and Jim Norton, Springfield; brother, Joe Baker (Thresa), Pyatt, AR; granddaughters, Laney Podosek (Brian), Milford, MA; Stephanie Lester (Brendon), Springfield; Britni Lawrence, Manchester, NH; and two great-grandsons.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Gaines, officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday in the funeral home.
