Donald G. Kendall, 91 of Springfield, passed away on May 23, 2024 at Glendale Gardens.
He served as a Corporal in the United States Army, Lieutenant Security Officer with the Federal Prison System in Marion, and Security Officer with Barnes Jewish and Children's Hospitals. Donald was a member of Restoration Church and Messiah Lutheran Church. He was also a lifetime member of VFW.
Donald is survived by his wife, Ileen Kendall of Springfield; daughter, Robyn Kendall Brummett (Henry) of Carbondale, IL; sons Donald G. Kendall, II of Marion, IL, Bradley Upton (Diane) of Colorado Springs, CO, Paul Upton of Alpha, MN and Mark Upton (Cathy) of Eureka, MO; and others.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Messiah Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Restoration Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
