Mrs. Hella Henrietta Griffin, known for her gentle soul and talent as a seamstress in the upholstery industry, passed away peacefully at her residence in Springfield, Missouri on April 11, 2024, due to natural causes at the age of 85.
Born on June 8, 1938, in Ettlingen, Germany, Hella’s life was one filled with grace, love, and dedication to her family.
Hella is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Griffin, her son Ralf Bastian, daughter-in-law Rebecca Bastian, daughter Susan Slagle, and son-in-law Stan Slagle, five grandchildren, one great-grandson and one great-great-grandson, and host of numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, and two grandsons.
A funeral service was held to celebrate the life of Hella Henrietta Griffin on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
