Jack E. Sisco, 89 of Springfield,was welcomed into heaven at 10:00 pm May 30th, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
He was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War. However, the role he took greatest pride in was that of a hardworking, over-the-road truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sue Sisco, two daughters - Kim Yarham and her husband Tim, as well as Jacque Thummel and others.
The visitation will be on Wednesday June 5, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Inc., 1947 East Seminole Street, Springfield MO 65804.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday June 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial with full military honors at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Galloway Village Neighborhood Association or College of the Ozarks.
