John E. (Jack) Dunn, 88 of Springfield, died May 13, 2024.
Jack and his family moved back to Springfield in 1970, where he took a position as a radio broadcaster and became the voice of SMSU Bears football and Drury College Panther men’s basketball. Later, he went into business and retired from Lincoln Land Title Co. He was a longtime and active member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jack is survived by his wife, Carol; son Tim (Tracy); daughters Patrice (David) Johnson and Angela (Jim) Bruton, and others.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St., Springfield.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 S. Holland, Springfield. Burial will be at Klingner-Cope at Rivermonte.
