John Franklin Brown, 84 of Springfield, became absent from the body and present with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 3, 2024.
Johnwas a sheet metal worker, working at several large companies in Springfield and other states. He was a member of many car clubs. He attended church all of his life, most recently being First Baptist of Battlefield.
John is survived by his dear wife, Jane; his sons Craig Brown (Kim) and Tim Brown (Lora); and others.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Service following at 2:00 PM, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
