John Junior Stevens, age 91 of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Ozark, Missouri, passed away in his home, Sunday evening, February 27, 2022.
On September 10, 1982, John was united in marriage to Grace Roberts.
John was a dedicated employee for United Airlines Incorporated as a skilled mechanic and used his talents for safety, construction and practical functions for 39 years.
John is loving survived by his wife Grace, daughter Wendy Venskoske and husband John; two grandsons Jeremy Venskoske and wife Chrystal, Matthew Venskoske and wife Ashley; step-son Gaylyn Bell and wife Michele; step-grandson Trevor Bell and wife Emily; step-granddaughter Kendra Bell and partner Clint Cook; eight great-grandchildren and other caring relatives. In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by a brother and step-son Kurtis Light.
Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Selmore Cemetery.
