LeRoy Harrison Rouse, 79 of Springfield, passed away June 16, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri, after a short illness.
In the early 1970’s they established ambulance dispatching offices throughout Southwest Missouri, while also training new EMTs. He went on to work at Edgefield Hospital in Nashville, TN, Donelson Hospital in Donelson, TN, and Summit Hospital in Hermitage, TN. In addition, he was a CPR/AED instructor for the American Heart Association.
LeRoy was a lifelong Seventh-Day Adventist Christian and attended the SDA Church in Nixa, MO.
LeRoy is survived by his sons, John and Jeff (Dejah); his daughter, Sheri (Marc); his sisters, Jean (Steve) and Wanda; and others.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Nixa Seventh-Day Adventist Church on July 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jerry DuVall presiding.
He will then be laid to rest and reunited with his bride, Erdith, at Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
