Neoma Nadene Arnold, 92 of Springfield, departed this life on June 9, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She began her career as a sixth-grade teacher at Strafford Elementary School and married her beloved husband, William Louis Arnold. Neoma was actively involved in her daughters' lives, serving as their Camp Fire Girls leader, homeroom mother, and Vacation Bible School director. A devoted Christian, Neoma was a member of the First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the Chancel Choir.
She is survived by her three devoted daughters: Lucinda Jane Goetz and her husband Jay of St. Charles, MO, Belinda Mae Arnold of Springfield, MO, and Melissa Ann Scranton and her husband Jeffrey of Springfield, MO and others.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
