Barbara Pohlenz, 68 of Bolivar, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, in her home.
She was born July 12, 1954, in Springfield, MO, to Thomas A. and Gladys Virginia (Chiders) Mangan. She is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Barbara is survived by her husband Alvin of the home; a son John “JD” Elliott and wife Tori of Niangua, MO; two daughters: Kimberlie Elliott of MO and Tiffany Colvard and husband Nick of Springfield, MO; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Michael Mangan and wife Diane of Springfield, MO; a sister Teresa Garrison and husband Greg of Springfield, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
According to Barbara’s wishes, her body will be cremated with inurnment to take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
