Connie Joe Brown, 76 of Bolivar, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023.
She married John Brown on May 28, 1965. Connie was saved at a young age and was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church of Bolivar. Many years at the Pantsmaker Garment factory, babysitting in her home, and she retired from the Polk County Senior Center as head cook.
She is survived by her daughter Penny Grant and husband Todd of Morrisville, MO, grandson Brock Grant of Morrisville, MO, siblings, Winnie Ball, Richard Coffey, Kenny(Sharon) Coffey, Paul (Ruth) Coffey, Teressa (Albert) Cornell; sisters-in-law, Lois Coffey, Beverly Coffey, Judy Carmen, Pat Smith, Vicki (Dwain) Cribbs; brothers-in-law Wink Ahart, Frank Steely, Ronnie (Donna) Brown; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Debbie and Terry Neal, Pam Rawhouser, Patsy & Larry Hofstetter, and Joyce and Bill Ingram.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, at Pitts Chapel from 11:00am to 1:00 pm.
A funeral Service will be directly following the visitation at 1:00pm in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Wishart, MO
