Donna R. Segelberg, 77 of Bolivar, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
She graduated with a BSN from Mount Marty College in Yankton and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, to work as an RN on a surgical unit at Bergan Mercy Hospital. She married Lyle A. Segelberg on May 31, 1980, in the Little Brown Church in Nasuha, Iowa. Donna was a private consultant to long-term care facilities in the Omaha area and Iowa for ten years.
During her career, she taught RN, LPN, MedTech, and Nursing Assistant students at the University of Nebraska College of Nursing, Metropolitan Community College, and Bolivar Technical College. She also provided in-service training to various Long Term Care Staff in the Omaha area and Iowa. She is survived by many loving relatives, dear friends and her beloved dog, Riley.
A visitation will be held at Pitts Chapel, Bolivar, Missouri, Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5-6 pm, with a memorial service following at 6 pm.
A burial service will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska.
